Each week in Room 20 we practise our spelling words in a range of fun ways. We can write our words on the windows with liquid chalk, or on the concrete with sidewalk chalk. We can make word-finds, memory games or play hangman with our words. We can also use magnetic letters to trace around our words and even spell them using sign language!
Here are some of us practising our spelling words.
On the concrete outside our room |
On the awhina space windows! |
Spelling City is a fun website too. |

I like all the different ways you learn your spelling. I would like to write with chalk on the concrete.
