This terms school wide concept is sustainability. In the Skyscrapers community our major focus will be investigating sustainability of the tropical rain forests. Children will learn about the features of a rainforest environment and the ecosystems that operate within them. They will learn about the plants and animals in the rainforest and will explore the impact that humans have on the rainforest environment. Our Inquiry unit will include a zoo trip to visit some rainforest animals in their natural habitat. Here's a Rainforest mural that we created in Week 1 of this term.
