We had our second session of Swimming lessons at the Millennium Institute pools today! It's always really fun to practise our swimming skills. On our way back to school on the bus lots of us got spots painted on our faces because it was "Go Spotty day" at school today too. We went spotty to raise money and awareness of the Melanoma foundation. Thanks to Mrs Bell for the free face painting!!!

Teach me Tuesday with Dylan!
On Tuesday Dylan shared his love for abseiling and climbing with us. He told us a story about how he overcame his fear of climbing and has developed a love for adventure- very inspiring! He also showed us how to tie a special climbing knot- "The Double Fishermans knot". Have a go trying to tie it at home. Thanks Dylan!!

We had another two great Teach me Tuesday and Wow me Wednesday sessions this week. On Tuesday Noah and Nathan shared their drawing skills with us and taught us how to draw dragons and anime faces. Then on Wednesday Jenna and Bella shared Maori waiata and haka with us. We had lots of fun in both lessons! Thanks Room 13 teachers :) Here's some pictures and a video showing highlights of the sessions.
